Can you pick the same team twice?
No. That is the rule that makes it a game rather than a formality. In one competition you get each Premier League club once. Use Liverpool in gameweek 3 and they are gone, even if they are at home to the bottom side in April.
It resets when the competition resets. The monthly £100 game is a new competition, so you start again with all 20. A season-long private league with your mates does not. There, those 20 picks have to last the run.
Save the bankers for the weeks with no easy home win. Burn them early and you will be picking a mid-table away trip when it actually matters.
What happens if a game is postponed?
You are not out because the match did not happen. A postponed fixture is not a draw and it is not a loss.
In most cases the pick carries over to the rearranged game. You wait, and the result of that fixture decides whether you stay in. Some competitions give you the chance to change the selection instead. The app tells you which one you are in before you have to do anything.
Do not assume a blank weekend is a free pass to pick someone else. If the pick has carried, that club is still your selection, and it is still used.
Draws, deadlines, and forgetting
A draw eliminates you. So does a defeat. There is no half-point and no "they were unlucky" appeal. The result is the result.
You can change a pick right up to the gameweek deadline. After the deadline, or once the first match of that gameweek has kicked off, it is locked. If you never submit one, you are eliminated. That catches more people than a 1-1.
The last player still standing wins. If everyone left goes out in the same gameweek, the competition closes and the app settles it.
Public games and private leagues
The football rules do not change between a free public game and a private one with your mates. One winner a week, no repeats, a draw or a loss and you are done.
Private games get an invite code. Public games are open. The monthly £100 game is free to enter. You need to be 18. The legal wording, entry fees, and prizes sit in the terms of service.
